To/From the Airport

Perth's domestic and international terminals are about 11 and 15 km from the city centre. Taxi can get you to the city from the terminals for around $25 and $30, respectively. The privately run Airport-City Shuttle bus meets all incoming domestic and international flights and provides transport to/from city centre and hotels ($15 and $20 one way to domestic/international terminal). Alternatively, you could catch Transperth bus route 37 every half-hour (from 5.30 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.) from the domestic airport to the City Busport for $3.40. Transfer time is approximately 40 minutes. You can rent a car directly at the airport. Western Australia has an enormous range of rental vehicles at highly competitive rates.
