The deadline for submission of proceedings has been extended to 27 January 2009.

The proceedings of the 8th Asian International Seminar on Atomic and Molecular Physics will be published in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), published by IOP Publishing.

All papers will be peer reviewed and if accepted, will be forwarded to JPCS.

All papers will be “free to read” and accessible immediately after publication. Papers published in JPCS will be hosted in IOP Publishing's electronic journals system and will be fully citable – in addition, citations to your paper will also be tracked online.

ALL SPEAKERS are expected to submit manuscripts in order to enable a permanent record of the Lectures of the Seminar.

Preparing your paper

What you need to provide

1) The original (MS-Word or LaTeX file) of your paper: The original should be prepared using MS-Word or LaTeX Template. The full length of the manuscript shold not exceed 4 pages of the template size (6 pages for plenary papers). As a minimum authors should:

- Use either European A4 or US Letter sized paper with at least a 25mm white space margin all around the page.

- Ensure that their paper includes an abstract, however brief.

- Not add any page numbers, headers or footers to your article as these will be added during the publication process.

- Disregard multimedia guidelines in the templates. Attachment of multimedia to your submission is not allowed.

2) The PDF file of your paper: Convert your original into PDF format.

3) A signed Assignment of Copyright Form

The Assignment of Copyright Form is included in the Word and LaTeX2e templates. You can send it electronically to your Conference Organiser (as a PDF) by scanning the printed and signed form.

Authors should supply their papers directly to their Conference Organiser via email: aisamp8@uwa.edu.au .

Please do not send your papers directly to JPCS. 

The submission of proceedings will be open from 27 October 2008 to 27 February 2009.
